  • Buying property in a foreign country - how can I make sure that I will not lose my money?

  • Investing in a foreign country is always a bold move. Therefore it is wise, to be as informed as possible. Some local knowledge is always recommendable. Property Checkpoint is taking as much hassle as possible away from you. We are getting you in contact with only the most respectable developers and we always will introduce you to the best English-speaking lawyers available.

  • Not being amongst the millionaires - I would need a mortgage. Are they easily available?

  • This depends very much on the country you are looking to invest in. Please see the specific information on each country, or contact us directly!

  • How do I organise a Viewing Trip to the country of my choice?

  • That is, for you, probably the easiest part of the whole process. No matter which country you want to inspect - Property Checkpoint does the organising for you. Just tell us where and when you want to go - We do the Rest!

  • How much are Viewing Trips? What are the costs?

  • Again, this depends on the chosen destination and also on the date you want to visit. Spain in July is a lot more expensive than Bulgaria in March. But Property Checkpoint will always get you the best deal available.

  • Is it necessary to make a Viewing Trip?
I just buy for investment and have no plans of visiting!

  • Making a Viewing Trip is - of course - not mandatory. But Property Checkpoint is always recommending to fly out, if possible. Yes, we will do almost everything for you and yes, you can give power of attorney to your lawyer - but still, we think it is always better to "see and feel" a property, an area in person. But generally speaking: No - there is no need for you to go on a Viewing Trip. We can arrange for all things to be done from your house back home!

  • Can foreign nationals own property abroad?

  • In all countries we have in our portfolio, it is no problem whatsoever, to purchase and own property as a foreigner. Detailed information about rules and regulations, you can find in the specific information on each country.
